ROLE
At Wiser, we’re redefining how brands show up on social. We’re looking for a Head of Social to lead our client-facing social function, elevating our offering and setting the benchmark for employer brand social.You’ll be responsible for social strategies, audits, always-on social media management, and content production, ensuring everything we deliver is creative, insight-led, and impactful. This role is equal parts leadership and execution—you’ll mentor and guide the team while staying embedded in delivery, ensuring all output is of the highest quality and drives measurable impact.You’ll also own commercial success, managing the P&L and growth strategy to scale the function in a way that’s both creatively ambitious and financially sound.This role is for a proven leader in social—someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-performance environments and knows how to build, scale, and inspire high-performing teams.
Leading from the front, acting as both an inspirational leader and a hands-on operator. You’ll work on our most high-profile accounts, while overseeing and signing off work across the entire social function—setting the bar for creative and strategic excellence.
Overseeing and guiding all social output, including audits, strategies, management, and content production, ensuring all work is insight-driven, high-quality, and impactful.
Setting and improving team standards, embedding a culture of high performance where accountability, feedback, and continuous development are the norm. You'll be mentoring and inspiring top talent, identifying areas for growth, and taking action where improvement is needed.
Operating independently, leading the Social function while strengthening client relationships and providing senior-level strategic guidance—both internally and externally—to build credibility and trust.
Driving commercial success, managing P&L, revenue targets, pricing structures, and new business to ensure financial growth and long-term sustainability.
Optimising internal processes, refining workflows, and improving efficiency to structure the team for scale, impact, and long-term success.
QUALIFICATIONS
A proven leader in social, with 8+ years of experience agency-side, managing and growing high-performing social teams.
A hands-on operator, who not only oversees and guides but actively works alongside the team, setting the standard through execution.
A team builder and motivator, passionate about developing talent, mentoring individuals, and fostering a high-performance culture.
An exceptional social creative, with the ability to combine world-class storytelling with data and insights to drive best-in-class delivery.
A proven commercial operator, experienced in managing P&L, revenue targets, pricing structures, and business growth.
A forward-thinking strategic builder, expanding Wiser’s social offering by developing new service lines, refining existing ones, and ensuring the team can deliver at scale.
An innovator, who will strive for continuous improvement within Social, keeping Wiser ahead of trends and creating new opportunities for growth.
An independent operator, able to run the Social function autonomously while aligning with leadership on vision and direction.
An operational powerhouse, capable of refining processes, structuring teams effectively, and driving efficiency at scale.
