Senior Social Media Manager

At Wiser, we help brands show up in more human, creative ways. That often means doing things a bit differently on social. As a Senior Social Media Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading the delivery of world-class social media strategies and content for some of our biggest clients.
You’ll own the end-to-end delivery of always-on social accounts, from strategy to content planning and performance, you’ll be the senior point of contact for your clients, ensuring our work is both creative and effective.
You’ll also play a key role in shaping our social offering, mentoring junior team members, and driving innovation across our approach to social media.
What you’ll be doing:
Owning strategy and delivery for a portfolio of always-on social accounts, ensuring work is best-in-class, and aligned with client objectives and insights.
Leading on the overall social strategy, ensuring each client’s social presence ignores the ordinary and drives market leading results.
Planning and overseeing content calendars that help our clients to stand out in the feed.
Using data and insights to optimise social activity, leading regular reporting and strategy refreshes.
Managing client relationships, acting as a trusted expert and proactively identifying opportunities to grow the account.
Mentoring and developing junior team members, providing feedback, upskilling, and supporting their growth.
Collaborating across Wiser’s Creative Studio to ensure all content is social-first, best-in-class, and delivering impact.
Driving innovation in our social approach, experimenting with new formats, tools, and trends to ensure we’re always leading the market.
Supporting pitches and new business opportunities, bringing fresh, strategic and creative ideas to the table.
What we’re looking for:
4+ years of experience managing social media for brands, ideally in an agency setting, bonus if you have recruitment marketing or employer branding experience.
A proven ability to translate client objectives into social strategy, and to use insights and data to inform account direction.
A best-in-class attention to detail, ensuring quality control across every project you touch.
Strong client management skills, being confident leading calls, presentations, reports and proactive communications.
An exceptional understanding of social platforms, their algorithms, and how to increase brand share of voice through content and community.
A creative thinker and copywriter who is able to craft engaging, on-strategy content and steer client tone of voice confidently.
Experience managing others or mentoring team members, helping to develop their craft and confidence.
Comfortable working across multiple clients and deadlines, balancing creativity with a culture of delivery.
A passion for social media, you know what’s trending, what’s coming next, and how employer brands can play a meaningful role in culture.
